The Rebranding of Global Warming

For the global warming alarmists, you know you have a problem on your hand when it's snowing in Iraq and stateside Senate hearings on the "global warming crisis" are rescheduled due to snow storms. No doubt that this year's long frigid winter has made “global warming” a marketing liability.

Last April Edward John Craig was ahead of the curve when he said that this particular "intellectual product" Gore is selling is a very expensive one, a luxury item. And people tend to value consistency — or shall we say, brand stability — in their luxury items. As such, global warming remains a tough sell. So get ready for the grand rebranding!

Glenn Beck and Chris Horner discussed the global warming marketing a few days ago. For our California crew, pay special attention at the 3:03 mark when the discussion turns to how the majority party has regulated the state into bankruptcy:






UPDATE: As reported at the Foundary, it is likely that global warming would not exist as an issue without the left’s blind devotion to computer modeling. However, there is no rational justification for using climate model forecasts to determine public policy.
