Today at a Congressional hearing on global warming, Democratic Congressman John Dingell admitted that cap and trade is a tax-- a Great Big tax!
That's right, despite the fact that there is no scientific consensus on climate change, Team Obama and the Dems are moving forward with their anti-market and anti-consumer cap-and-trade system for controlling emissions of gases blamed for global warming.
The Cap-and-Trade program will be one of the biggest spending items in the federal government’s history.
Even Obama admits will cause energy costs to skyrocket. The initiative will cost American families $700 to $1,400 dollars each year. The crew over at Heritage gives us a great illustration of what your share of "Cap and Trade" will be:
Exactly what America needs during recession. Hope and Change.

Well the CEO of Duke Energy was talking on 60 minutes the lastnight about how bad climate change is and we need to stop emissions. Of course this means that his coal power plants will liquify and pump the carbon emissions into the ground water. Which is funny because it does not seem like a good fix to take carbon emissions, concentrate them and pump them into the ground water. Call me crazy but this plan could be a future problem.
